Hi @yychen0925
I am sorry to hear about the issue.
Can you please confirm if the display WebP option through Settings > Imagify is enabled? If so, can you try to deactivate the display WebP option, clear your caches, and check again if the issue is fixed?
Feel free to let me know how it goes.
Best Regards,
Ioanna
Hello Ioanna,
thank you for your answer.
It was activated and i clear cache and look. picture not there.
then i deactivate it and clear cache and the pictures was there.
now i activated it again and clear cache and the images are there in this moment. perhaps my browsercache is now false. so it would be good if you look by you also.
But what i see in freontend is, that i don´t see the webp images, i see now the jpgs.
So something is false.
I think the best solution is, that someone of you log in to the backend.
Yours sicnerely
Tania
Hi Tania,
Thank you for the updates.
This kind of issue is related to the WebP display option when using picture tags as sometimes it can be risky. The solution, in this case, would be to choose the rewrite rules way to display your WebP images(Settings > Imagify) unless you are using a Cloudflare/ CDN.
Regarding the issue with using picture tags, this is caused by the lack of CSS rules for picture elements. While your theme covers img tags properly, there are missing CSS rules that would assure compatibility with code changes Imagify makes in your HTML code. It would be ideal to contact your theme provider and ask them to check this in more detail, as it would be a great improvement for their theme to make full compatibility for using picture tags.
Let me know if you need further assistance. I’ll be happy to help.
Best Regards,
Ioanna
Hi @yychen0925
It looks like WebP is not active right now. Do you use any LazyLoad system in your WP installation?
If so, can you deactivate it for a moment, activate WebP again and see if it works?
Best Regards
Marko
