I installed and activate version 1.6.1 of Role Based Help Notes while logged in as admin. This was my only active plugin.

With the plugin active, none of my Pages and Posts were listed. Only after I checked User Role Editor on the Plug In Suggestions tab did my pages reappear.

This was rather disconcerting and nearly led to me uninstall the plugin as dysfunctional.

    Hi Ed,

Thanks for the info. I’ve been looking through to see what happened here I’ll keep you posted.

I haven’t managed to replicate the issue.

This is what I have done.

    1. install WP 4.3 (single site)
    2. login as Administrator
    3. install ‘Role Based Help Notes’
    4. activate ‘Role Based Help Notes’
    5. I then went to the site front end and I see the the ‘Hello World’ past and ‘Sample Page’ Page all ok.

Can you give me the any more details of your installation (e.g. version of WP, mutli-site or not etc.) and the steps you went through to see the error?

I created a new install of WP 4.3 single site and installed and activated just Role Based Help Notes. It works just fine.

The site with the problem on had a few other plugins installed and one of them may have been in conflict. Unfortunately, I’ve made a lot of changes to that site since, so I can’t replicate the exact environment.

I like Help Notes and will use it on other sites, so if I run into the problem again, I’ll narrow down the exact circumstances.

    Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks, I’ll mark as resolved for now then.
