# Missing Pages

 * Hiya,
 * I am using the IAMSocial theme and found an odd issue today.
 * When I add a page to the main menu in the dashboard (by selecting it from the
   categories list, not a ‘real’ page) the menu updates fine but when I click on
   the link I get a page missing error. I have several pages set up this was already
   and they are all fine. I’m sorry but I can’t share a link to it atm. If a choose
   to create a page and add it, it works fine.

 * Try resetting your permalinks from SETTINGS->Permalinks.

 * Thanks for the response. I visited to permalinks settings and changed it from‘
   custom’ to ‘name’ and saved the new setting but unfortunately the page is still
   missing.

 * Hi Steve,
 * Thanks for the response. Unfortunately the site is being built with a .local 
   address on our server and so I can’t share it. I will have to change the page
   to a ‘normal’ page rather than a ‘category’ for now.
