# Missing MySQL extension?

 * When tryng to login this morning I received the following error message:
 * “Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required
   by WordPress.”
 * Everything was in working order yesterday. I don’t understand this message. Please
   help. Thank you.

 * I think it is best to ask your hosting if they changed something. I seems they
   updated their server and broke stuff
