# Missing MySQL

 * I just uploaded my files and I am getting the dreaded message “Your PHP installation
   appears to be missing the MySQL which is required for WordPress”. I have read
   the other post that came up when I googled this message but, since I am an absolute
   html novice, I have absolutely no idea what those people are talking about. I
   am hosting on GoDaddy which has MySQL in place and I created a database prior
   to uploading. I tried to follow the instructions for changing the config file
   but I don’t know for sure if I got them right. Please help.
