@anakaine Thanks for submitting feedback, and sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the product. The plugin is intended to make it easy for users to integrate and view metrics for Google services with their site, without having to modify their snippet and without confusing some users, who may find more advanced configurations complicated.

Rather than using Site Kit to place your Analytics snippet you can insert your own, even via another plugin. Site Kit can then recognize this snippet while availing of the in product Analytics dashboard.

While the Analytics module may not operate as desired for you we’d love you to revisit the plugin going forward as we add more capabilities for future releases. It’s an open source project so feel free to also open a GitHub feature request for any of your suggestions. That way the team can review and consider for future releases.
