Missing links and part of dashboard in 2.1.1

    Just curious why I can’t see some of the wordpress backlinks in my blog stats and all the lil boxes on my main dashboard admin page.

    They work fine on one computer but not another. Does it have to do with java or javascript because I don’t have those installed…

    Is there a workaround for people with javascript to get full function to the dashboard.

    No. Enable Javascript.

    WordPress 2.1 adds a whole lot of new AJAX functionality. So without Javascript, large sections of the WordPress 2.1 admin screens will not function correctly.

    Note that “Java” and “Javascript” are two entirely different things. They are not related to each other. Javascript is built into your web browser, Java is a separate thing that you must download and install separately.

    WordPress 2.1 does not require Java.
    Wordpress 2.1 does require Javascript.

    It sys i have javascript enabled in browser settings. But still will not work.
