Missing HomePage Menu

    I have recently come across an issue whereby the menu icon is not showing for pages where I have included tables with row details. However, the icon does appear when you scroll down the page. This is only the case when a user is on mobile. Is there a potential fix to this/is it a known issue?

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    I’m not sure that I understand. What exactly is not showing? And with “row details”, do you mean the “collapse” mode of the Responsive Tables Extension?

    Hi Tobias,

    Thanks for the quick response.

    The menu icon which initiates a dropdown menu does not show on pages where I have included this “datatables_row_details=true datatables_row_details_columns=”B-AI””. This is only the case for mobile devices.

    Unsure as to what is causing it as when you scroll down and up the page the menu icon then reappears.

    Hi,

    thanks for the explanation! The Row Details Extension is however not used on that page right now, correct? Could you maybe turn that on again, so that I can directly see the issue?

    Just re-added the Row Details Extension to the page. To make sure the issue occurs on the mobile version of the website.

    Hi,

    I’m not really sure what’s causing this, but one possibility could be that you are using too many columns in the Shortcode parameter:

    datatables_row_details_columns="B-AI"

    Here, the second part (AI) in your case, must be the last column of your tables, e.g. “Y” for the tables with 25 columns.

    I have edited the parameter prior and this doesn’t make any difference unfortunately. For the time being I will remove it from the web page.
