    Hey Kyle,

thanks for reaching out – I’ll gladly help!
First I would suggest that you try using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ . Install it, activate it and hit the Regenerate! button for the finish. Also – a screenshot of your settings, would be much appreciated. I would like to try to make it work for 3.8.1 WP version but if you are in a hurry, here is the link to all WP versions: http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/ .
Please let me know how it goes, take care & have a nice day!

    Best,
    Petra

    Hey Petra
Thank you for responding. Was there some change that happened in the new update that required to regenerate the thumbnails .. Before this update i had all of them.

Hey Kyle, hope you don’t mind me replying on Petra’s behalf, but as it seems, things seem much better now — almost all of your thumbnails are back, right?

The thing is, you made a big leap when you upgraded your WordPress platform (from v2.8 to v3.8.1), which might have caused some changes with classes on your images, thus causing these problems.

But as I said, things seem to be changing (or am I mistaken?), so let’s wait for another day to see if you are still missing any of your thumbnails.

And do let me know if this isn’t the case or if you have any more questions, since I’ll be more than glad to help you out! Take care & have a nice day!

    Best,
    Silvo
