 * An automatic update was done on my website and now I don’t have access to view
my file or my customers. This is the error message that I am receiving .
 * Warning: require(/home2/calico/public_html/wp-blog-header.php): failed to open
stream: No such file or directory in /home2/calico/public_html/index.php on line

 * Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home2/calico/public_html/wp-
   blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in /home2/calico/public_html/
   index.php on line 17
I have contacted my hosting and they recommend a Web developer
to fix the issue , but Iam a little guy and don’t have the funds for this . Is
there anyone who can help me with this ?

 * It sounds like the update failed. Please try a manual update to recover.
 * [https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update](https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update)
 * Additional note: it appears your host is using PHP 5.4. That’s way out of date.
WordPress now recommends PHP 7. Ask your host if they can upgrade you to 7.0
   or 7.1.

 * Contact your host to find out how to get FTP access. They probably have detailed
instructions on how to setup FileZilla.
 * Once you have that, download a fresh copy of WordPress from [https://wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org).
 * Unzip that file on your own computer, then use FileZilla to upload the entire
directory tree to your server, overwriting the files already there. (This will
not remove your settings or existing content.)

 * On the right side, put FileZilla into the home directory for your site, probably\
public_html. You want to find the director with wp-config.php in it.
 * On the left side, go into the WordPress directory created when you unzipped the
file you downloaded. Select all files and directories (wp-admin, wp-includes,
and all the files), right click, and select upload.

 * See if this helps you understand the steps: [http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-using-ftp/](http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-using-ftp/)

 * I have talked with my host and they have informed me that my site has been attacked
by Malware . What do you suggest from this point

 * Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow [this guide](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked).
When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of [the recommended security measures](https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress).
 * If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations
that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

 * I don’t understand how I can do all this when I can’t log onto my website , it
recommends doing a back up before I start .
And if I do a backup won’t the malware
   be a part of that

 * You do the backup in case you frak things up, so at least you can get back to
   a known place.
 * You do not need to login to your website; you can replace files via FTP and backup
   the DB from phpmyadmin.
