 * wp-config.php is created during the install process. The sample is there if you
   want to config manually.

 * Check your PHP error log in order to properly solve 500 errors. As for WP-config
   file, you can simply create it separately and it would work like a charm regardless.

 * Hello,
 * I have also a similar problem. I think I was hacked so I installed Wordfence.
   By checking it I must have accidentally deleted my config.php So when I tried
   to check If my site (after working with wordfence) was OK I found the typical
   5 minutes installation.
 * All my old content is still there bu I don’t have an old config.php bakcup. My
   fear is, will I loose it if I go on with the installation? how could I restore
   it?
 * Thank You,
 * Jose Pedro

 * Well, finally I copied config.php from another mirror installation I have. Changed
   database name to the one I have in my server /cpanel also changed user password
   and I’m in again.
 * However the question still remains. How coudl I have recovered it? I guess my
   old installation wouldn’t be lost since I could give a new db name in the 5 min
   installation. But what would happen if I gave my old db name? Would all tables
   been recreated?
 * Jose Pedro
