    Hello,

I am getting the following warning from GSC, missing field “Brand” for a specific post. However, I checked another similar post and the warning didn’t appear. In the schema it shows the “brand” name correctly.

I just see review type: “Product” and “Product Name” for the settings. Not sure how / where it pulled the product name for other posts, but its correct. Just this one is not showing up.

    How do I fix?

I am also using latest version of plugin

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@themuz01 If the other posts are not marked as review posts, we cannot comment on how they take their values. For review posts, you can refer to this solution if you want to add to the GSC.

Kindly spare a moment to leave us a review. It would really help us spread the word!

Hello the other posts which work fine are marked as “Product” not review.

    Hello @rozroz,

I think you misunderstood the problem.

The other posts which work fine are marked as “Product” not review.

I need to add the missing schema field “Brand” for a specific post.

Please advise how to add the value for the schema “Brand” for a specific post.

    Thanks

@themuz01 as mentioned in my comment, you can use the solution provided in the linked thread to add additional data to the GSC. Please let me know if that does not work for you.

    Hello,

I am still having the following 3 errors in GSC, with your plugin on the website.

Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified
    Missing field “item”
    Missing field “itemListElement

The change recommended here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-field-brand-2/#post-13046991, Did Not work.

In the breadcrumb navxt settings, for post types, I have:

    <span property=”itemListElement” typeof=”ListItem”><span property=”name”>%htitle%</span><meta property=”position” content=”%position%”></span>

    etc.

For the post template (unlinked), I have:
    <span class=”%type%”>%htitle%</span>

For the page template, I have:

    <span property=”itemListElement” typeof=”ListItem”><span property=”name”>%htitle%</span><meta property=”position” content=”%position%”></span>

after implementing all of the recommended solutions. Any other options before I have to uninstall plugin?

    Thanks

@themuz01 there is a difference between errors and warnings on GSC. Warnings can be ignored; errors cannot. Please share the following:

    • screenshot/link to the GSC tool
    • screenshot of the code you have added
    • direct URL to the page where you see there errors

Also, I’m not sure how the breadcrumbs are relevant to this issue. Can you please clarify?

    Hello @rozroz,

How do I post screen shots in this forum?

The red Errors show up under the enhancement section under “Breadcrumbs” in GSC. These are not warnings.

@themuz01 the snippet code does not seem to have any addition. As mentioned in the solution link, you will need to add further data using that snippet to make sure GSC sees it. However, we cannot help you with the body of the code – that is something you will have to figure out or take the help of a developer.

thank you. so basically the snippet code wasn’t implemented correctly, yes?

    (@rozroz)

@themuz01 yes, you would need to add more data using the snippet.
