 * Hello Sir,
    I was at this website of Toolset ([https://toolset.com/home/comparing-toolset-to-free-and-paid-alternatives](https://toolset.com/home/comparing-toolset-to-free-and-paid-alternatives))
   and was going through the Comparison that Toolset did.
 * I won’t lie, Pods scored extremely very high. Pods was very impressive– Although,
   there are things that were still missing in Pods.
 * I will like to state them out, and ask if Pods will implement them in the nearest
   future.
 * 1.) Under **CUSTOM FIELDS**, Pods does not have:
    a) Repeating Fields. b) Repeatable
   field groups. c.) Customizer Integration.
 * 2.) You have **Custom Admin Option Pages**. But what does this mean? And how
   do I use it?
 * 3.) Under **FRONT-END FORMS**, You do not have PAYMENT WITH FORMS, and you do
   not have Notifications.
 * 4.) Under **DYNAMIC CONTENT**, You do not have:
    a.) Filter by fields & taxonomies.
   b.) Front-end sorting controls. c.) Infinite scroll. d.) Different output formats–
   Slider, Grid, Pinterest/Masonry, and Sortable Table. e.) Display posts on maps.
 * 5.) Under **CUSTOM SEARCH**, You do not have:
    a) Front-end filters with ajax.
   b.) Support for post relationships. c.) Support post relationships from CSV.
 * 6.) Under **IMPORT/EXPORT**, you do not have support for:
    a.) Support post relationships
   from CSV.
 * These are 6 Item Categories with their subcategories of 14 things that Pods has
   not done.
 * **QUESTION**
    1.) Will Pods implement these requests in the nearest future?
 * Needing to hear from you soon.
    Regards

 * 1)
    a) that’s planned for the 2.9 release b) you can use flexible Relationships
   [https://youtu.be/V8c067GAEcA](https://youtu.be/V8c067GAEcA)
 * 2) [https://docs.pods.io/creating-editing-pods/creating-a-custom-settings-page/#Advanced_Options](https://docs.pods.io/creating-editing-pods/creating-a-custom-settings-page/#Advanced_Options)
 * 3) That’s left for Forms e.g. there is a integration for Gravity forms – [https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/pods-gravity-forms/](https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/pods-gravity-forms/)
 * 4+5+6) Thats are huge topics and the answer very much depends on your use case
   some of it is easily doable other things might be better left for other tools
   e.g pods integrates very well with FacetWP, Beaver Builder,… and many others
   so there might not even be a need to build everything into pods…
 * Have you checked out the “Plan Before You Build: Information Architecture & Content
   Strategy” video? We highly recommend it to give you a better understanding of
   how to structure your content and build your data model based on your content
   needs: [https://youtu.be/OPHfDVWyuZU](https://youtu.be/OPHfDVWyuZU)
 * Need a more hands-on visual approach to building things with Pods? Check out “
   Build Anything with Pods! A hands-on workshop using the Pods Framework”. Check
   it out: [https://youtu.be/U6co02SeMVA](https://youtu.be/U6co02SeMVA). Also check
   out our Docs page that includes all template examples: [https://docs.pods.io/videos/build-anything-with-pods-hands-on-workshop-using-the-pods-framework/](https://docs.pods.io/videos/build-anything-with-pods-hands-on-workshop-using-the-pods-framework/)

 * Every Tool has their strengths and weaknesses and a comparison provided by one
   tool might not factor in stuff other tools have built that it hasn’t e.g. take
   a look at a comparison of far more CPT tools… [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoY8IFUX301qdFhBaERLUEUwa3U0YjFYTnBmaU1mbmc](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoY8IFUX301qdFhBaERLUEUwa3U0YjFYTnBmaU1mbmc)

 * Thank you very much for this reply.
 * It was a big eye opener for me, and getting to know that Pods will have Repeating
   and Repeatable fields in its 2.9 release, is a great sigh of relief for me.
 * Now, my use case is such that a friends wants to have 2 separate kinds of website
   in one Domain Name. He wants to have a **Real Estate** website and a **Recruitment
   Website** under one domain.
 * There will be a button that says “**JOBS**” and when this button is clicked,
   the user is taken to a new Page with a separate kind of header, that leads to
   only information connected with Jobs and Recruitment.
 * But we need 4 different kinds of Dashboard, all in that one website. These are
   Employer, Job seeker, Agent and Agency. And each of these User Roles will see
   different Menus when they log in according to their User Roles.
 * For example, Employer Dashboard shows applicants, Received Resumes, Posted Jobs
   etc.
 * Job seeker Dashboard shows: Submitted applications, Jobs applied for, etc.
 * Agents and Agency Dashboards show: Submitted Properties, Sold Properties, etc.
 * So I needed:
    a.) Filter by fields & taxonomies. b.) Front-end sorting controls
   Under DYNAMIC CONTENT because I will have different Archive and Single Pages
   for my different User Roles, and will need to be able to sort and filter the
   Archive Pages.
 * I needed:
    d.) Different output formats– Slider, Grid, Pinterest/Masonry, and
   Sortable Table– because the List Layout alone of your template is not sufficient.
   The Page will become unreasonably too long when Posts become many.
 * If you will not increase the Display and Output formats, Please add Grid format
   to it. Grid has a beautiful way of minimizing display space. Please add Grid
   display to your output style.
 * > Every Tool has their strengths and weaknesses
 * I agree with this your statement hundred percent (100%), but Pods has fascinated
   me too much, that I wish for it to have so much power and few weaknesses.
 * I mean that I wish it to be that– whatever power that is possible to be additionally
   built into Pods, I would like for it to be built-in– so that Pods will have few
   dependencies(few third party things it needs to depend on).
 * Lastly, I’d like to ask if I can create User Dashboards using Pods?
 * Special Appreciation.

 * Hi [@gamicord](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gamicord/)
 * Since you are in a pre-phase of your project I’d like to forward you to the following
   page:
    [https://docs.pods.io/faqs/what-can-you-build-with-pods/](https://docs.pods.io/faqs/what-can-you-build-with-pods/)
 * There is a limitation as to what you can expect from software in general.
 * For example:
 * > I’d like to ask if I can create User Dashboards using Pods?
 * Yes you can, but you’ll need the experience and knowledge of several tools and
   structures to create something like this.
    It won’t be a “click on a button”
   kind of project. You’ll be able to use Pods to create your database structures,
   object types and fields. But you’ll still need to create the UI yourself so your
   users can actually work with your system.
 * In short, Pods can help you a lot with your setup by taking a lot of the “heavy
   lifting” our of your hands. But it won’t create projects like that from scratch.
   It’s a framework, not a single-plugin solution for everything, especially more
   advanced (interactive) systems.
 * As for new features, we work as hard as we can to enhance Pods. You can follow
   progress and the roadmap on GitHub. [https://github.com/pods-framework/pods/projects](https://github.com/pods-framework/pods/projects)
 * Cheers, Jory
