# Missing Feature: Export Specify by Category

 * I would like to export from a specific category. Currently, all the posts exporting,
   can’t select only a specific category. Please bring this option. Thanks

 * Thanks for the suggestion.
 * The post date is already available: in the **Author and Dates** section, you 
   can enable the published date and the modified date, and they’ll be added as 
   columns in your export.
 * As for exporting by category, the plugin currently exports all posts at once,
   with no option to pick a specific category. I’ll consider adding this in an upcoming
   release. In the meantime, here’s a **quick workaround**: export all your posts
   as usual, then open the exported file in Excel and **filter by the category column**
   to show only the posts you need.
