( I’m using the google tag recorder and now it seems that the tags are correctly in place..but please feel free to check yourself and give me a second thought ( you can even make a fake order if needed be — you wont have to pay as my model is a bit different)— just write TEST TOM in the name if you want. * Anyways * So here is what I was doing and what I changed ( just so you know) for the record, I am using WordPress 4.5.3 // Betheme 13.7 and Woocommerce 2.6.2 – * SO: * 1: INITIALLY I had the GTM code inserted in my section and I had enabled the CODELESS insertion in your plugin. but this wasn’t giving me the information I wanted, and it showed in Google Tag recorder as if I was recording the same information twice. I was still getting that message of “Missing Ecommerce Information” in Analytics. * 2. I looked over some other discussion posts where you mentioned that we should delete the GTM Code ( maybe its something you should mention in the plugin or elsewhere as I feel it wasn’t too clear, just helping out here). – so i removed my GTM code from the , and instead of putting Codeless I put Custom insertion– I put the code you mention in your plugin in the section This yielded a result where I wasn’t getting any recording from google tag manager. In fact google tag recorder showed there were no tags set, nothing. * 3.
