Title: Missing directories Last modified: January 7, 2022 --- # Missing directories * [elpeyo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/elpeyo/) * (@elpeyo) * [4 years, 4 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-directories-2/) * Hello, On a site, the backup folders no longer exist, the temporary, the logs and the backups. wp-content / uploads only contains media, no backup folders. I changed the upload authorization to 775, nothing has changed. i uninstalled backWPup, then reinstalled the plgin without success. I have to do my backups using FTP. the site weighs 1.2 GB, the host is OVH. My other sites are with another host and less heavy, 400 to 900 MB, still with BackWPup which works perfectly. Do you have a clue, a solution to restore the backup files in the faulty site? I am obliged to make the backups by Sftp, which is fine, but I wonder if I should keep the extension on this site, if it is not useful? For information, I manage several other sites without any problem with BackWpUp, for years. I was hoping to reset the basic settings for the extension’s backup folders. The problem probably appeared last March, after the fire at the Ovh Data Center in Strasbourg: data disappeared, including these famous folders.
