Are you using the WP Backup plugin or our plugin, BackUpWordPress? They are two different plugins?

    Hi Kat!

I’m currently using your plugin but both have the same problem as described above….

Can you try disabling the other plugin and then clear your cache to see if there’s a conflict with both plugins running at the same time? (and vice versa) Can you also get me a screenshot to illustrate what you’re talking about – I think I get it, but would like to know for sure.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

WP Backup Plugin (by Umar) is deactivated, but cannot delete the plugin (folder on the ftp server plugin folder is gone?!)

Here’s the link to a screenshot:

Hope you can solve this soon; cheers

Okay – you can’t delete the plugin via the WP admin for plugins or via FTP? Try uninstalling the BackUpWordPress plugin as well as deleted the files and work from just a clean installation of only BackUpWordPress. is it still happening?

If so, you need to deactivate plugins one at a time to see if it’s related to a conflict between plugins or not, and potentially check your theme as well, be deactivating your theme.

Let me know what you find.

    well… it started out nice:
deactivated and deleted BackUpWordPress, after that I was able to delete WP Backup Plugin.
Activated 2015 theme and installed and activated BackUpWordPress but no result; still NO dates.
So I deactivated and deleted BackUpWordPress again plus deactivated all my plugins and installed and activated BackUpWordPress but no result; still NO dates!
This is VERY frustrating! What is causing this?
I’ll go and see if I can restore my website back to how it was an hour ago….

    Hey there @nr27

I think this is a bug and we’re going to need to take a closer look. Are you able to either enable support on the site or send a support request to us at backupwordpress@hmn.md so we can help you troubleshoot this more directly?

Thanks so much and sorry for the frustration!

Just updating this ticket as we’ve worked on the issue over our support channel.

We have this logged as an issue but aren’t able to replicate it, unfortunately. If you or anyone else is able to provide further information to help us in troubleshooting this further, we’d be thrilled for more information. I won’t be closing this support thread unless or until we’re able to progress on this in some way. πŸ™‚

We are still looking into this one – if anyone else sees something similar, additional notes would be great so that we can recreate the issue to troubleshoot πŸ˜‰

Thanks and sorry for the weird bug – it’s logged in Github, at least πŸ˜‰

the last update (3.6.2.) seems to have fixed a problem with complete backups running forever (see ‘No backup, just spins’ at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/no-backup-just-spins-1?replies=11) but sadly there’s still no change in the missing dates problem….
