 * All I see in my Dashboard menu is
    Updates
 * Nothing else, I am sure there was more, like stats and a log etc.
 * I have tried reinstalling WP, no chang.
 * I have tried Deactivating Plugins, no change.
    The only plugins I have are NextGEN
   Gallery PixoPoint Menu Plugin Theme My Login
 * I have gone to default theme as well to see if that would change anything but
   as expected it did not.

 * -try adding this near the bottom of your wp-config.php;
    define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’,
   false);
 * before this line:
 * require_once
 * [http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Disable_Javascript_Concatenation](http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Disable_Javascript_Concatenation)
 * -if that does not resolve the issue, try [increasing memory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP)
   available for php.

 * Hmmm, tried both but no luck.
 * I even reup’d \wp-admin\index.php
 * Not sure what has happened here.

 * – try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently
   inactive plugin can still cause problems.
 * -If the above step and other steps do not resolve the issue, Download WordPress
   again and replace your copies of everything **EXCEPT** the wp-config.php file
   and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies. This should replace your core
   files without changing your content and settings in wp-config.php file and the/
   wp-content/ directory.
    Note that some uploaders may not overwrite files reliably,
   so delete the original files before replacing them.

 * Not sure what you mean there and how to do it, but I suspect it was a bad plugin
   at some time, can you elaborate on how to do this?
 * BTW, I just backed up my site, deleted EVERYthing but wp-config and the wp-content
   folder and reup’d it all with no change.
    Must have something to do with a plugin
   and the db

 * hmmm, neither option brought back the items in dashboard menu
 * To be sure we are on same page, I have some items on dashboard page like
    Right
   Now Quick Press Recent comments etc
 * but in the Dashboard menu in left side under dashboard I only have
    Dashboard
   Updates.
 * There used to be much more IIRC or am I remembering something much different?

 * Something different. The Dashboard only got a sub0menu recently (3.0?). Prior
   to that there was just a Dashboard tab/link. 🙂
