Support » Themes and Templates » Missing css in subdomain

  • Hi,

I have a multisite with several subdomains.

All pages work fine in all browsers except from one, which doesnt show the css in both Internett Explorer or Firefox.

    The theme is Oxygen.

    The page is: http://arakataka.rhli.org

Does anyone know how to solve this?

    Best regards,
    J

  • I tried that, debugging with Firebug -> Network, and all the resources used on the page (CSS included) don’t give any 404. :/

So what could it be? Is there something missing in the htaccess file?

So, what file do you think is being missed? Give the name and its path, so it is easier to know what you expect.

This is the htaccess file: Is something missing here?

Stop and think. I asked you what you want to achieve. Which file?

Right now, this page is giving this CSS file:
    http://arakataka.rhli.org/wp-content/themes/oxygen/style.css

Explain to us why that is wrong, and what should be. Do no paste more .htaccess or whatever just for pasting, because such noise does not help. :/

    Ok, sorry.

I want the page to be displayed ( layout ) in firefox and IE, the same way it is displayed in Safari/ Chrome.

That’s not a Multisite Question. That’s a general theme issue, and realistlicy, you will never get a site to look 100% the same in IE and Firefox and Safari and Chrome, but you can try. I’m going to move this to the theme section, where folks good with the CSS can help 🙂

@815403 — looks like you have some CSS errors:
    http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Farakataka.rhli.org%2F&profile=css3&usermedium=all&warning=1&vextwarning=&lang=en

Not all of these are problematic — check on these to start with:

529 .content-wrap Value Error : float center is not a float value : center
    578 #header Value Error : clear url(layout/Logo%20Arakataka%20watermark%20100_v_v.png) is not a clear value : url(layout/Logo%20Arakataka%20watermark%20100_v_v.png)
589 #branding Value Error : float center is not a float value : center
