No, that particular feature of the WordPress.com Reader is only available to WordPress.com Blogs.
The WordPress.com Reader doesn’t have the same means to connect with your self-hosted WordPress.org Blog in that way, even with Jetpack.
Thanks, fair enough.
Just one more question:
It appears, as if another self hosted blog: http://www.tedgiffin.com
does have that particular feature:
The post:
http://tedgiffin.com/2015/10/31/beverly-hills-weezer-cover-image-mash-up/
appeares in the reader with comment section:

That’s definitely a WordPress.com blog with a mapped domain, not a self-hosted WordPress.org blog.
Note at the bottom of the site, “Blog at WordPress.com.”

The site I need help with is: http://www.beat.company – WordPress 4.3.1 – running WP Barrister theme. All up to date.
Readers don’t get a comment section in the reader when clicking on one of my posts. I have double checked that by following myself and checking up on other dot org sites, that I follow: They do have that feature.
Is there anything wrong with my settings or Jetpack ?
