# Missing Categories

 * I am running the latest release of WordPress 2.0.4 and some of my categories 
   are missing. In fact, it appears to be two new ones that I just created: ID 33
   and 35.
 * Can anyone give me some assistance on what I should do to make these categories
   appear?

 * Categories only show up if they have posts inside them. That might be why they’re
   hidden at the moment.

 * There are posts in one of them.

 * Now they both have posts in them and they are still not showing up.

 * Are you sure they are not children cats and/or excluded from showing by the code
   you are using in the sidebar?

 * I think I found it. Somehow a plugin was causing issues. This should be resolved
   now.
