missing author, headline, image fields and logo snippets

Im using the yoast plugin, after using google’s rich snippets test I see that there are there are fields that are not being read by google console, and also the logo isnt scanned as rich snippet.

Need help fixing those issues, Thanks.

Upon checking the page via the Rich Results Testing tool, we don’t seem to find any missing schema data, see the screenshot https://prnt.sc/fHFVbjjAVnA8.

Can you please verify once again?

So the fields issue was solved but I still have the issue with the site logo rich snippet not being scanned, can you help? @suascat_wp

Hey @cozyvest,

Thank you for your reply. Can you please elaborate what you mean? I don’t see anything off on the RRTT and/or the Schema.org validator on the URL you provided.

@jeroenrotty when I’m looking at the google console I don’t see rich snippet for the site logo even tho I set up the organization with the site logo on yoast

You’ve specified the organization logo and we also confirmed the Yoast SEO plugin and added it to your site with all the necessary Schema markups.

While structured data makes rich results possible, it is not certain that you’ll get rich results with a logo. It’s all up to the search engines. As confirmed already you have the right markup without error to be eligible for rich snippets it might take some time to appear on the results.

As said before, it’s ultimately up to the search engines to display your site’s rich results, like those thumbnails. You can learn more about in the following resources:

Thanks, is it possible to make the business address as rich snippet with yoast or I need to have to yoast local plugin as well?

Hi @cozyvest

You’ll need the Local SEO for WordPress add-on plugin if you want to add the relevant ‘LocalBusiness’ schema along with the ‘address’ and other details.
