# Missing author causing problems with snippets?

 * My website not showing correctly from Google search and snippets missing. I just
   get a vertical bar followed by the page title.
 * Webmaster tools shows missing author but I cannot fix it.
 * Error: Missing required field “entry-title”.
    Error: Missing required field “
   updated”. Error: Missing required hCard “author”.
 * Any suggestions?
 * Have disabled all plugins and emptied the cache.
 * Thanks
