Missing a lot of basic features

insists on appearing in every user account, not just, you know, contributors, authors, and admins. Subscribers DON’T NEED AN AUTHOR BOX.

Also there ought to be a way to manually or automatically crop the photo someone uploads, or at least have overflow hidden instead of stretching the circle meant to contain the picture into an ugly “look, the website isn’t doing what it should” oval.

There’s more but you get the point. Basic usability has been overlooked.
