  • *Update: The author is right. There is a way to achieve the grid look that is in the display. It’s not straightforward and took a little work on customizing but I got it to work. Otherwise the theme is pretty solid.
The featured image for the free version of this theme shows the image grid on the homepage. However, it seems to only be available in the paid version. You get four page layouts with the free version and six with the paid one. Very misleading.

Actually, that is not misleading because you definitely can achieve that page layout. There’s even a tutorial for that here:

Create an Image Post Front Page

Also, when themes are reviewed by the Theme Review Team at, the one thing they also check is the screenshot of the theme and to make sure whatever it shows, can be done. Otherwise, it would not be approved and go live.

So if you feel like it, you may want to reconsider your 1-star review 🙂

Thank you for the clarification, I have used your theme and it is working fine for me, however I have a question that I need to use the home page image post from only one category, and your guide says:
Go to your main menu and add your Image Post category to it so that people can access this category where all of your image posts are published to.
Actually I didn’t get it, where is the main menu? and should I stop the (reading>> Front page displays)
    can you help?

Hi Zlad…because you posted your support request in the review/rating section, it’s best if I can get you to repost it in the support area if possible…

Once you do that, I will be more than happy to follow up there and help you out with regards to your question(s).
