Support » Fixing WordPress » Minor edit to style.css file not reflected in my website

  • I recently purchased and installed the Business Point Plus WordPress theme. Since I am fairly familiar with HTML and CSS, I decided to open the Theme Editor and make a minor edit to the h1 style in my WordPress theme’s ‘style.css’ file. In particular, I increased the font-size from 28px to 36px. After doing so, I clicked the Update File button and saved the change I had made. I then cleared my browser’s cache and refreshed the page. Unfortunately however, wherever I have used the h1 style in my website, the text is still displaying with a size of 28px rather than 36px. I repeated the process but chose to increase the h1 style font-size from 36px to 50px. Again, any text styled with the h1 style still looked to be displaying in a font-size of 28px. Why has the text not increased in size? Am I doing something wrong?
