Minimatica theme issues adsense

I’m using the minimatica theme and I customized it a bit already using various plug-ins etc.. I would like to ad adsense to the Left of my featured image on my posts. Any ideas? (i thought about this)>>Is there an option to keep the featured image but, not to add it to my post? All in all I would like to keep the featured image and float an adsense ad to the left of my image. I Like the Picture to appear on my home page in this theme, and the only way to do that is to use a featured image. Problem is that featured image is also inserted at the top of any post with out the ability to float anything to the left of it.
