Hello @assad19
Thank you for reaching out.
I’ve checked your website and the screenshot you shared.
All files that you can see like /wp-content/cache/minify/f6524.css are minified files.
Are you referring to files coming from fonts.googleapis.com
Thanks!
Hi sir,
if all these files are minified then why sir, they are showing in the render block option?
Hello @assad19
Thank you for the clarification.
Minifying and eliminating render-blocking resources are two different things.
As you can see, the JS and CSS are minified, and those resources were render-blocking prior to being minified.
There is an option in W3 Total Cache “Eliminate render-blocking CSS by moving it to HTTP body” in Performance>Minify>CSS. When enabled, it eliminates minified render-blocking CSS. However, this option is only available after upgrading to the Pro version.
Thanks!
Okay and sir, how to minify fonts.googleapis.com files? plugin is not minifying the files
Hello @assad19
These are external files that are loading on your website from a server other than yours.
W3 Total Cache handles the files on your server.
Sometimes external files are minified and sometimes not. I would suggest that you host those files on your server and disable google fonts.
Alternatively, you can try adding those in Perofmrance>Minfiy>Advanced> Include external files/libraries:
or Switch to manual Minify and add the files manually and in proper order.
Thanks!
