  • hey guys,
    I am done with my WordPress theme.n I want to optimize it as possible . I finished as much as possible of the recomendations of Google page load. I minified my CSS,javascript. I was wondering how to do this via htaccess or any other way. I don’t want to do it with any plugins.

    Do what, exactly? I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish. If you mean, “can you automatically minify CSS and Javascript using .htaccess”, I’m not sure. Maybe. It looks like Google’s mod_pagespeed does it though. I’ve been meaning to play with that for months and months now 🙂

    which choise can optimize your wordpress website furthor…

    I like “yui compressor” but I don’t think it is automatic in the sense the original poster asked, but I’m not 100% sure what the original poster is looking to achieve.

    I’m wondering the same thing as @rubal – is there an .htaccess snippet that will serve minified css / js files? I agree plugins are not optimal.
