Minify suggestion for next update

  • Is it possible to have Minify to behave like PageCache?

What I mean is – when a page is accessed/viewed, if the minified file does not exist – immediately create a new one?

No matter what I set “Update external files every” to, it take hours before a new file is created.

What is happening is .. I use EdgeCast CDN and have it set to ‘origin pull’. Sometimes when I flush ‘all caches’, the minified file has not yet been cached on all the nodes.

So now with the minified file(s) not existing on my server, some visitors are seeing my site – without any css applied.

If this issue can be addressed in any way, It would be much appreciated!

That’s exactly what the intended behavior is. Unfortunately changes to file management have caused this bug. Hopefully fixed in the next release.
