Minify .js files

    Hi guys,

    WPForms has two .js files loading on websites:
    – jquery.validate.min.js
    – wpforms.js

    The first file is minified.

    The second file is not. Minifying it reduces the load from 30kb to 14kb. For page speed optimization purposes could you have this file minified as well?

    Hi andrei0luca,

    Currently the files for new features are minified, though older files are not. However we are working to update those files over time, so that most files will be compressed eventually.

    Hi Ethan,

    Currently I am testing version 1.5.1.3. I believe it is the latest version and not an older one. And it is loading only two .js files on my website.

    A simple minify in a future version release would be much welcomed. Page load speed is kind of important 🙂
