• Hi,

I’m seeing many messages and stack traces like the following in my error log:

2014/08/14 13:50:04 [error] 1684#0: *205861 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Warning: gzinflate(): data error in /xxxx/xxxx/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Minify.php on line 1144
    PHP message: PHP Stack trace:

PHP message: PHP 6. gzinflate() /xxxx/xxxx/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Minify.php:1144" while reading response header from upstream, client: 109.74.82.170, server: 7region.com, request: "GET /demo/wp-content/cache/minify/000002/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.css?t=1408017005662 HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://127.0.0.1:9000", host: "www.7region.com", referrer: "http://www.7region.com/demo/wp-admin/admin.php?page=w3tc_dashboard&w3tc_note=flush_all&nginx_helper_action=done&nginx_helper_urls=all&_wpnonce=xxxx"

This is on an Nginx server + WP 3.9.2 Multisite (subdir mode) + Nginx Helper created with the EasyEngine script. Please note that I’ve x-ed out the local paths and wpnonce but the XXX…XXX.css filename is there in the original messages.

Is this anything to worry about? Any way to prevent this?

    Thanks for any tips 🙂

  • Hi,
    Did you find an explanation?

Hi, you’re getting this strange XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.css in the messages too? I never found out why this was happening. I had to disable Minify for stability reasons 🙁
