[Resolved] Minified CSS – When should I should not use it?

  • Fantastic theme. Many thanks… Just a quick question.

When I Customize the theme I noticed the (new?) option under Skin that provides for a “minified CSS stylesheet” to improve performance. Great! I’ve turned it on and everything seems to work and seems faster. I’m just wondering why it is made optional? Is there a time when I should not use it?

Apologies if this question has already been answered in the documentation or FAQ.

    Hi @dcccharron,
There might be cases in development mode when you need to directly edit the skin stylesheet and see what it does on your website. That’s the purpose of this option.
However it is strongly recommended to always use the minified versions in a production context.
    Hope this helps!
