I’m considering upgrading my VPS from apache to litespeed. I’m currently using WP Rocket with MaxCDN. I’ve been very happy with WP Rocket, but when I was reviewing the litespeed plugin details I didn’t see anything about minification or cdn’s.

If the plugin doesn’t offer these features would it be compatible with WP Rocket? Would the lightspeed plugin outperform WP Rocket on a lightspeed server?

  • Both were unset. I clicked the button to set the cache roots and it did set the virtual, but server level displayed this error:

Apache Config does not exist or is not writeable. No changes made.

So are you saying that I need to locate /home/lscache, delete that directory, and restart the server?

    After configuration changed, yes.

My screenshot is from WHM litespeed panel -> LiteSpeed Configuration -> WebAdmin Console -> Configuration -> Server.

Also you can try to login into your litespeed webadmin, set that cache folder.

After you changed the sever setting in webadmin, you will see a notice to tell you restart lsws.

We just internally tested this afternoon. Just FYI

    WP Rocket on Apache : 600 Reqs/sec

WP Rocket on Litespeed Web Server : 4000 Reqs/sec

LSCWP on Litespeed Web Server : 6000 Reqs/sec
