# Mini-hacks

 * As I mess with WordPress, I occasionally come across things I change to make 
   something work better, at least according to me.
    For example, recently I used
   the Show Category Posts plug-in and the WP Paginate plug-in, and while they worked
   well separately, they did not work as designed when used together. The solution
   was really simple: one line of code to set $posts=$hcp_posts right before “the
   loop” ind the index.php file. I doubt that many people will be interested in 
   this, but it would be nice to place it someplace others could search and find
   it if they ever ran across the problem. What’s the preferred location for snippets?
   The Wiki? The Forum? Being able to find it somewhere would have saved me a lot
   of time. peb
