Support » Installing WordPress » Mingus in the house, now what to do with 1.0.2?

  • I’ve installed Mingus and have it running “fine” (more on that later). Is there any compelling reason to keep 1.0.2 installed? My main reason for asking is that with the installation of Mingus, I can’t log in as admin to the new install.
I’ve run the work-around that involves the code revision in the login.php script and cleared and rest the admin password from within the db using blackfluffylion’s MD5 hash, but still no luck. Thoughts?

  • Okay, now I’ve really scotched things. I fixed the login prob. only to mess something else up. Moved the index.php script out of the wordpress folder so that simple entering would take you to the weblog. When I did so, this was my result…
Warning: main(./wp-blog-header.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/webslog/www/www/index.php on line 3
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/webslog/www/www/index.php on line 3
Reinstalled a fresh wp-config file, adjusting the contents to refer to the correct tables in the database (wp2SCRIPTNAMEHERE, etc.). Any thoughts? Help most appreciated.
