• Hi, I have the version wp 1.2 RC1s. I have heard to speak of the “mingus.” It’s best? What is there more? it’s risky the upgrade? Thanks

It’s the official release, as opposed to the Release Candidate.
Check the Dev Blog and Wiki for the full list of features, and upgrading ? Not a problem 🙂

Thanks, I would like to know this: which are the new files for uploading, which re-write doesn’t need? I have translated in my language different parts and I would be sorry if I had to restart from the beginning…

Ah .. I’m not sure to be honest.
Hang on for a while, and someone may be able to help further.. 🙂

I can’t speak for the developers, but usually ‘a release is a release’. They could come out with patches, updates, etc., but I’m assuming the mingus release is ‘done’.
There will ALWAYS be continued work in CVS — if you’re using live builds, then you’re never locked to a given release, but you’re also subject to lots of change, temporary bugs/issues, etc.
Just wanted to add my thoughts. 😉

I have 1.2 beta. Is it the same process for upgrading to mingus? or should I even?

CVS HEAD is development for the next major release. We’re changing lot’s of stuff. Avoid it if you like stability. Any updates to 1.2 will most likely go into a separate branch.
