[Resolved] Mingle Forum FULLTEXT index fails with InnoDB

I’m working on upgrading our MySQL from 5.0.x to 5.5.x and changing storage engine from MyISAM to InnoDB.

When I went to convert all table to InnoDB, the Mingle Forum posts tables balked because they use FULLTEXT indexes (which are not available in InnoDB until MySQL 5.6).

Is anyone using Mingle Forums with InnoDB storage engine?

Right now the search will only work if FULLTEXT is set, which as you pointed out is not available in InnoDB. I believe you should be able to set all tables to InnoDB and leave the one at MyISAM. I want to update the search mechanism to work with either but haven’t gotten to it yet.
