Am trying to get zoomify up and running on a new site using the Zoomify embed for WP plug-in.
I keep getting this error message:
“Network error. If using ZIF storage, setting MIME type on web”
It doesn’t really explain the problem or tell me what to do. However I have added a MIME type for .zif to my webhost’s User Defined MIMIE type list, and also added the line
“AddType application/hypercosm hcvm” to the htaccess file as recommended in the Zoomify readmefirst.txt for .zif files.
Neither seems to make a blind bit if difference.
    Suggestions welcome!!

Problem solved. I had the htaccess file in the site home directory. Fixed the problem by copying it to the folder containing the .zif file.
