Hi, I am trying to change a WP multi-site into a single instance, move it to a new http://www.address on the same server, and then re-create it as a multi-site. From what I can see, I DID turn my multisite into a single site…I deleted all the php tables, etc. like I’m supposed to. Got the export file from your program. Called the folks at Bluehost, and said, I’ve got to re-import this file. First time through, no luck. Second time through, the website “appears” to be moved—but all the links revert back to the old website, which is: a) not what I want; and b) what I thought your plugin fixed. I am aware of the “serialized data” problem, and I was hoping your plugin fixed it.

I just run a nonprofit and when it comes to WP I am an idiot. Your instructions are great about how to get the website out of the current condition. I’m looking at the download right now. Your instructions are murky at best about how to move the download file BACK into a WP installation, and reinstall the php files to make a new website at a new location. Experienced developers certainly know what you are talking about, but if you could spell out the a,b,c,d,e,f about how to move your download back into WordPress, that would be awesome for us amateurs.

    Thanks in advance.
