    Hi oriondesigns,

To remove a plugin from your site, you can go to the Plugins page in your WordPress admin area. On that page, you’ll see a list of plugins installed on your site. You can scroll to Pirate Forms to click on ‘Deactivate’.

In case it helps, WPBeginner has a tutorial on how to remove a plugin.

    I hope this helps 🙂

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I guess I wasn’t clear with my needs or question.

Originally, I did migrate to WPForms. Then I deactivated Pirate Forms. I cannot remember if the ‘Delete’ button was there or not or if I pressed, however it nor Pirate Forms is still listed in plugins BUT Pirate Form and its menu is still on the left in the Dashboard.

How can I confirm it is delete and remove it from the Dashboard.

    Thanks!

    Hi oriondesigns,

If you’ve checked in the Plugins page of your admin area that Pirate Forms is no longer displayed in the Plugins list, it should have been deleted already. You can try clearing any cache on your site and reload your admin page to see if that helps.

You can also access your site directory via FTP and navigate to the plugins folder for your site (wp-content/plugins) to be sure that the Pirate Forms folder is no longer there.

    I hope this helps 🙂

I checked and the Pirate Form plugin folder is still there in its entirety in the WP Plugin Folder.

How should I proceed to remove the plugin?

    Hi oriondesigns,

Thanks for the update! To begin, you can create a backup of your site and save a copy of the Pirate Forms folder on your computer if you’d like to. Next, you can proceed to delete the Pirate Forms folder from your plugins folder. When you go back to your site, you might need to clear any site cache to see the changes.

    I hope this helps 🙂

Deleting the Pirate Forms folder from the plugins folder did work. Pirate Forms Widget and its Dashboard presence no longer exists.

    Thanks!
