# migration issues

 * Both the products and orders migration process will frequently halt claiming 
   a “communication” error. This requires the process to be repeatedly restarted
   making migration a very tedious process. Is there some way this can be fixed?

 * I have tried this on two sites and both quit migrating orders at 1133 orders 
   and won’t continue. Both sites are staging sites (clones of the original) but
   I cannot see migrating the live site until the migration issues are resolved.

 * Hi,
    The “communication error” you are seeing is usually due to: 1. Orders – 
   an order with a product, that no longer exists and was removed from the database.
   2. Products – an attribute in an incompatible format (for variable products).
   This obviously can be fixed, but you would need to contact me directly at [support@jigoshop.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/migration-issues-11/support@jigoshop.com?output_format=md)
   since every case of these “communication errors is quite individual.
