 * I did a wp site using Headway for a friend’s business because I’ve used wp for
my own websites, although I’m not a web person at all. They have been handling
the migration to a new URL and it’s not working.
 * I installed wp plugins to perform backups of the site and database and sent those
to them. I also sent all of the files from my server, with wp instructions from
   here [http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress).
 * Here is what they’ve said. The problem is I don’t understand what else they need.
They love the website, so that is not the problem. [http://www.christinakiffney.com/mulroy/wordpress/](http://www.christinakiffney.com/mulroy/wordpress/)
 * The rest of the post is FROM the company. Please let me know if you can understand
   the issue!
 * There are more problems.
The downloaded wordpress site refers to images at /
headway/** This context is part of [http://www.christinakiffney.com](http://www.christinakiffney.com)
and not part of the PHP wordpress download. How would you expect this site to
work for me when I change to url to a different host? This site will not run
correctly after server migration because of this.
 * I’m very frustrated with this process. We don’t want a blogging engine for a
   simple static html site.
We want: * Static HTML pages * Some PHP form processing
is fine * CSS stylings * Images * Javascript effects, form binding, etc.
 * What we have so far:
    * WordPress site hosted at christinakiffney.com * URL to
images hosted at christinakiffney.com/headway and not part of the wordpress PHP
   download
 * How do you propose we rectify this situation. I’m an expert web developer. I
have tried to work with the limited instructions.

 * Is there really a question here? If they don’t need a blog and want static html
pages delete all wp files and the db, build a index.html page and go forth from
   there.

 * I don’t know how to do that since I’m not a web programmer, so I need to find
   them a solution.
 * Where do I find a list of wp specialists that could be hired on a contract, one-
   time basis?
