Title: Migration from .com to .org Last modified: April 8, 2018 --- # Migration from .com to .org * [oliversm](https://wordpress.org/support/users/oliversm/) * (@oliversm) * [8 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/migration-from-com-to-org/) * Hello all, * A while back, I created a hosted WP.com site and today I registered a domain name, exported the site, imported to my self-hosted one. * Everything has gone really well, with only a couple of things that I would like some help with: * 1. When I created the self-hosted blog, I did so with a temporary login that I thought I would delete later. I have imported the user from my original WP site, but I cannot delete the temporary user. * 2. I would like to import the ‘likes’ that some of my entries have gained, can this be done? * 3. I can live with that though. * Then I created a user and deleted the temporary user that I used to set the site up with. After that, I used my WP.com user to delete the latest user. * Now, when I log in to the WP.com site and try to switch to the migrated site, I get this error: * [https://screenshots.firefox.com/v2UCJiKuX2RZOijb/wordpress.com](https://screenshots.firefox.com/v2UCJiKuX2RZOijb/wordpress.com) * That image will only be available for 14 days. * Please help!
