 * I installed WP in a subfolder on my website. I created a nice Blog and now want
   it to be my domains default page (index.php).
 * I followed the instructions at: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory)

   where the directory already exists in the right place but need to redirect the
   index.php in the root folder.
 * Once changed, I keep getting an error message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected
   T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE in __________on line 17 (the blank being my root directory
   location of index.php
 * What am I missing?
