We are migrating posts to our newly revamped site.

On the old site we editted the meta tags manually when we migrate its showing the default Post Title and Post Content tags.

How to do we import our changes we made on the old side whcih is over 3000 pages.

Tried exporting post settings and importing no luck

    Please adivse.

    Hi @wyamout,

Can you please share some more details on how exactly did you migrate your old site? Would you mind checking the database of your new site and let me know if the post IDs have changed on your new site?

Also, do you see any values in the wp_aioseo_posts table or are the fields inside this table set to NULL?

Hi yes its a newly built site and we need to migrate our 3000 blog posts and products. The ids are new. I can see the values in the database all are Null

    Any advise?

    Hi @wyamout,

I’m sorry, but in order for the migration to work properly, the current site has to be identical to the one which the data was exported from.

This is why there are Null values in the DB.

    Hi @wyamout,

We haven’t heard back from you in a week. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks! 🙂
