Migrating from http to https

    Hi there,

    We’ve been using Pretty Links (Lite) on our website. We plan to migrate from http to https soon. Do we need to worry about the existing links we created via this plugin? Or will these work just fine via https as well?

    If you’ve pasted any links manually using http, then they will still be http afterwards. You’d want to have your webhost put a .htaccess redirect on your site to force any http url’s to their https equivalent: https://stackoverflow.com/a/10489949/6114835

    You can also use a plugin like Really Simple SSL to help if your host won’t help with the .htaccess.
