Migrating from All in One SEO

    I am trying to migrate All in One SEO settings into Yoast and it isn’t working.

    I have AIOSEO installed and configured with meta titles and descriptions.
    I install Yoast
    I deactivate AIOSEO
    I go into tools, migrate
    Yoast recognises AIOSEO installed, I migrate settings
    It doesn’t work, meta titles and descriptions are not migrated

    I am following the instructions as previously provided and they do not work.

    I’ve done this before and it worked, I am doing it again now and it doesn’t work. I’ve tried it on multiple sites which makes me wonder if if either AIOSEO preventing Yoast from migrating the content or whether something has changed that means you can’t migrate the content successfully.

    Please advise.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble importing SEO data from the All In One SEO plugin to Yoast SEO. the issue you’re currently experiencing is a known bug that we’re already aware of. A bug report is currently open in our development repository for this issue. You can find and follow the progress of the relevant report here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/16518

    In the meantime, you can use the 3rd party plugin, SEO Data Transporter to migrate the SEO data from All In One SEO to Yoast SEO.

    @maybellyne

    I’ve been monitoring the issue and it appears it still is not resolved in your plugin.

    It also appears that the SEO Data Transporter is not working.

    I really want to move to Yoast (around 100 websites) but with no way of migrating data from AIOSEO other than doing it manually this would not be practical.

    How soon do you think you might be able to resolve this issue?
