# Didn’t work, no support, to expensive…

 * I wanted this to work and messed with it for over three hours before giving up…
   It may be that my server, LiteSpeed and CloudLinux, was part of it, I don’t know…
 * This plugin has zero support and is presented as such, with everything about 
   it pushing towards their expensive pro plans… An openly expressed and demonstrated
   policy of no support at all is so contrary to the spirit of a WordPress community
   that collectively helps each other, and that WordPress.org explicitly declares
   and demonstrates that it is largely about… Not just says it, does it…
 * Core is mostly built by folks working for free, these support forums are conducted
   by people mostly working for free, and there is so much great free support for
   free plugins and themes in this community it is Amazing, all of which is a big
   part of why I love WordPress so much…
 * I have purchased in the last couple years nearly a dozen pro plugins, several
   pro themes, and have donated to multiple plugins… I totally support the idea 
   of people profiting from their efforts…
 * The least expensive pro approach for this plugin, in order to get support and
   the push-pull feature, costs considerably beyond the norm for what one gains,
   compared to the functionality and usefulness of the themes and plugins I have
   purchased and most of the ones I’ve explored purchasing… I also use some very
   nice free plugins with great support that have as much or more functionality…
 * The “documentation” for using the free version, in the form of a short video 
   clip, is minimalist and in my view basically useless for a whole lot of folks
   who use WordPress in a self hosted environment… Additional to that, the video
   ends with what is to me an implicit and dismissive gesture that one must now 
   be ready (and apparently able) to get into the _move to_ database via MySQL…
 * For anyone that is familiar with and able to get into their database, in just
   a bit of time the same migration this plugin didn’t help me with can be accomplished
   quite easily, and in my experience flawlessly… With an export in the _move from_
   site database, a new database and an import in the _move to_ site, and the use
   of a simple, free and elegant script, what this plugin only halfway does can 
   be done without issue in no more time than it would take to use it…

 * Doesn’t seem fair to review it so low just for a lack of free support. How long
   do you think developers will continue adding time and energy for free if they
   get told off when they limit the free support they donate? I thought leaving 
   this forum for people to help each other was a good idea.
 * WordPress is free because people are making money from it in other ways. The 
   days of the free Internet are gone.
 * Plugin developers create free or free versions so people can still use WordPress,
   with a lot of great options and features, freely.
 * I do pay for some of the plugins and themes I use as well. I’m careful about 
   choosing which plugins I support because I do have a tiny budget and my sites
   don’t make money. I pay when I can because I want to support WordPress and the
   developers. I also leave reviews for plugins which worked great and I try to 
   only leave constructive feedback when something doesn’t work for me. This is 
   also supporting WordPress in ways which only cost me a little time but can add
   back and help developers too.
 * WordPress theme and plugin developers won’t keep coming back if they don’t get
   the very support from us which we hope to find from them. To leave a comment 
   like yours is not going to work out well for the WordPress community in the long
   run. How long will the community spirit and generousity last if the WordPress
   community slams them for not doing enough? It’s not for you to decide how much
   they contribute to WordPress. Just as it’s not up to anyone else how much you
   do or do not pay for plugins and themes. We have the freedom to choose our options–
   because we still have the options.
