Support » Plugin: Upload Url and Path Enabler » migrating after local development

    Hi,

I am developing locally and am not far off migrating. If I use this plugin to point at a subdomain for my images – how will this affect the migration? I am using another plugin call duplicator that I think only looks at the WordPress directory itself not to a subdomain. Would I just create another subdomain on the production server and then update the directory after the migration (using this plugin again)?

    Hi david.

I think it only depends on your migration plugin.
    For example:
    Images: media.example.com
    Development: dev.example.com
    Production: http://www.example.com
If your plugin looks for dev.example.com and replaces it with http://www.example.com it should be fine, the media subdomain should stay in place.
